Coolest Ways to Keep the Bugs Away!



Hey Friends! Have a great idea and wanted to share with you. You know how cool it is to have your refreshing drink out by the pool. All to have a yucky dirty fly land on the edge of your glass. 

I MAKE THESE LIDS MYSELF

You can purchase rubber grommet rings from Lowes or Home Depot drill a hole (make sure you use a punch to mark the spot or the drill bit will walk on you) insert the grommet.
and wahlah.... your good to go no bugs... no spills!


Or, simply use a cupcake liner & put a straw thru it!....check the video posted

Day 2....

Good morning juice!

Well its day 2 and I am still on a juicing reboot.  These are the ingredients this morning!  It was a very tasty juice & I highly recommend you try it out for yourself.  Make sure you clean your produce well....my beets had a lot of dirt on them!



Since Guy had to leave ...I made his to go!  Yes, I even taped a straw to the glass jar!!!  Hahaha




It's like liquid sunshine on a rainy day here in North Dallas....I got to get out and sell some real estate!  En"joi"....lovin' life!

Day 1....Mid-Day



Apple Kale Ginger & Cucumber Juice




All Gone & not as good as this mornings juice....but still not bad!

Oh and I weighed in today at 153.2lbs...probably shouldn't have mentioned this but I'm going to journal my weight and see what results I get...especially since I'm not daring enough to share a picture!

On A Mission...

Have you ever had an inspiration....to go on a mission for your health???
Well, I have a vision-in my mirror and after seeing what I saw...decided to go on a journey...kind of an experiment to see if food can really change your appearance.  I'm going to spare you the photos of myself...perhaps when I get a bit braver...or perhaps at different stages I will share.  But for now its about  eating better.  As you know, when we start to get older, it becomes even more apparent that when we ignore our health-we will start to regret it.... So here goes.

The dressing was just lemon juice drizzled all over the salad...it also keeps the apples from turning brown!  If my avocados were ripe I would have used them in the salad as well.  

Now for.....DESSERT!

What the JUICE....



Yesterday I was inspired again!  
Working at Keller Williams has been a big change for me and my career but the people that I am around are so fabulous!
A gal by the name of Kelli Kocher is leading a group at KW that want to improve their health-and she is doing a fabulous job! 
Back in March I volunteered to talk about juicing and demo'ed how to juice!

 There were some that told me what I had to say was very valuable so that always makes me feel like I'm contributing to those who truly want to be healthy! Heres my:

Mean Green Juice Recipe Today - use organic produce as much as possible but definitely  the dirty dozen:
1 cucumber
4 celery stalks
2 apples
6-8 kale leaves
1/2 lemon
1” ginger

Juicing is basically living food in a liquid form.  Make sure you use organic produce-fruits & veggies.  They are bursting with lots of vitamins, minerals, enzymes.  Drink them as soon as possible for the most nutritional benefit.  They are delicious and so healthy!

Know when to buy organic...here's the dirty dozen and the clean 15!
